dry river caravan

soo i recently shot with this band, dry river caravan. i don’t normally shoot with bands, but these guys were pretty cool and i like their folky sound. you can’t go wrong with a clarinet and stand up bass in my mind. anyhow as a folk band, they mentioned something about shooting “glam rock” type photos. at first i didn’t really comprehend what they meant by that, and didn’t think much of it, but when i was greeted by their lead singer, john, at the front door of his home, i was immediately taken back as he had full mascara and eyeliner on. i immediately got pretty damn excited after i saw the rest of the band sporting similar looks and dressed in crazy garbs. anyhow when i asked why they were going in this particular direction, they simply answered, “we just want to do something different man.” i’m soo down with that! haha anyhow here are a few of the flicks we shot, along with their track, “wake up” filmed by southern souls.

ps. many thanks to my good friend, jamie kronick who recommended me to them. this guy is one of my favourite humans shooting around ottawa! he was busy out in new york though. hopefully i didn’t let you down man!! wooo!
