The Units by Josh Hotz

soo many people coming out with so many dope projects! anyhow here’s my boy, josh hotz‘ new zine, “The Units” created through straylight press.

The Units features the likes of Mitch Barrette, Matt Canadien, Austin Chartrand-Fyfe, Charlie Bowins, Will Marshall, Cody Anderson, Jon Piekarski, Sam Lind and Jack Turner. they’re the homies and the theme of the mag is that they’re in their moment.

anyhow straylight press is the brainchild of esteemed ottawa photographer tony fouhse. tony’s been a photographer around these parts for over 30 years now. his work speaks for itself, and his recent documentary work with (*hopefully) former addict, stephanie mcdonald, is also available through the straylight press under his new book, “live through this“, available for pre-order now.

but back to josh, we’re working on a project to drop in decemeber! here’s a sneak preview:

josh is also having a photo show – “Photos for my homies in the name of skateboarding” at Must Wine bar on October 2nd. prints will be on sale for $175. if you’re in ottawa, it’s definitely worth checking out!
