TROUBLE GANG!!!

sooo last week, i spent part of it in halifax to defend and finish off my masters thesis in environmental engineering at dal. it went really successfully and i celebrated with a weekend with friends whom i haven’t seen in quite some time (*like half a year). anyhow amazing times were had and this place is definitely my home away from home. here are some photos!

i’m gonna go out on a limb here and just say that pro skates is my favourite shop in the country.

next jordo, tay, skaitlyn, josh & i skated chester

mitch barrette was in town apparently! haha

enter jackie!

& the lovely melody of course!

got some with the help of jackie! gaaah my landlocked city arms weren’t quite ready for the coastal thrashing i received! surfing is pretty much the best thing ever though. thanks a million guys!!!

jackie killing it on the boogie too!

yep.

so an update. jackie and melody bought a plot of land in laurencetown (*one of the best surf spots near halifax). it’s a lake front property and they’re going to be building their own home in the coming year! soo stoked for them.

went and shot myself a skate photo too! here’s my fellow photographer, curtis rothney, smithing a handrail, minutes before i left to go back to ottawa!

second angle!

it’s always sad leaving halifax man! such good homies out there! many thanks to jordie, dratwa and nicky for letting me crash their crib! of course many thanks to everyone who showed me an absolutely amazing time! at the end of the day, at least i got to bring back a couple of these guys with me on the airplane! haha lobster tonight! ayeee!
