concrete issue 118
so just picked up the latest concrete and got pretty stoked on some of the content in here!
i think i’ve mentioned this dude before in the past, but jamie maley is a ripper! he picked up a cover last year and now i’m reading all about the dude in his very own interview! (*peep the sarrazin & nolan unbelievers board in the background!)
but yeah throughout this interview, everyone has nothing but the best to say when it comes down to this dude, which is really reassuring. beyond that though, the tricks in this interview really speak for themselves! check out the leg extension on this crazy boneless (*great snap caissie)!
also really stoked on this tree jam to fakie!
went to this spot last year with tommy and this ex-hatchery just outside of vancouver was a gem!! i don’t mean to take away from talking about jamie, but i really wanted to post a flick of tommy that we shot there! haha here’s a blunt to fakie i’m really pumped on. just wanted to throw this in because i love tom and i figured it would give you some context as to what the spot actually looks like
anyhow back to jamie, this blurb about sponsorship got me really stoked! the dude really sounds like he knows what he doing.
anyhow besides that pumping interview, i got really excited about this back smith pole jam photo! homie looks like basquiat and just steezes the faacckk out of this thing!
lastly, but not least, i got my first photo of the year published of lil’ ryan racine!! heckkk ya little budday! we finally made it happen!
haha however joshers, i’m not gonna let you off the hook man! this may have potentially been the worst write-up in the history of write ups man! this line alone kills me… hahahaa
dammnnn son! we gotta make sure we come proper next time for these dudes!
but all kidding aside, i’m really stoked for my homie hotz and his upcoming show this friday, april 20th at SPAO! he’s been getting some much deserved love from color and the ottawa citizen too. i can’t wait to peep and hopefully buy a copy of his book to come, “Photos in the Name of Skateboarding.” for anyone in the ottawa area, you should definitely come check out this show! i’ll be there for sure.
